Contributions to RIDA PAC are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Contributions to RIDA PAC are for political purposes. All contributions to RIDA PAC are voluntary. Rhode Island law requires political action committees (PACs) to report the name, home address, and name and location of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $100 in a calendar year. Contributions to an individual PAC cannot exceed $2,000 per calendar year. Rhode Island law also strictly prohibits corporate contributions or personal contributions made that are ultimately reimbursed by the employer.
